Have you ever been to Toronto? This is one of biggest city of Canada. I have been to the city 2 years ago. It is very beautiful and attractive city. So I’d like to tell you about Toronto.

First, Toronto has many kinds of people. There are French, Korean, Philipino, Greek, Brazilian and Italian. Many people come to Toronto as immigrants. Thus, I couldn’t recognize real Canadian at the subway, when I was in Toronto. It has a lot of immigrants, it means that Toronto has many kind of immigrants’ neighbors, Chinese town, Korean town, littl

e Italy, Brazilian town and Greek town. And these are very close each other, because Toronto is very compact city.

As I said, Toronto is very compact city. And its main transportation is subway. They call it TTC(Toronto Transit Commission).  Most people use this subway to get anywhere in the city. Some people think Japanese train is very useful, but I’ve felt that TTC is as well as Japanese train. It is very organized and it comes every 5minutes. So it was really better than I expected.

Next, about the sights of Toronto. Toronto is on next to Lake Ontario, and the shore has many kinds of restaurants, bars, cafes and some buildings such as CN Tower and Rogers Centre. CN Tower is one of famous landmark in Toronto. This tower works as a radio tower and landmark. So many people come to the tower because of the height. The height is 553.33m. It used to be highest tower in the world as a free-standing artificial building. And, Rogers Centre is a baseball stadium of Toronto Blue Jays. So, if you go to a restaurant around Rogers Centre, you may baseball player.

     Can you imagine Canadian food? Actually, according to local people, they don’t have great native food. The only thing as Canadian food is “Poutine,” which is French fries with gravy sauce and cheese curds. It’s very popular as a fast food, but local people said that it is to high calorie and so oily. You can enjoy many kinds of country’s foods at each countries neighbor. I think those foods are the Canadian food.

     Finally, Toronto is very clean and smart city. Some people said that Toronto is look like New York City managed by a Swiss. It means the city is cleaner and smarter than N.Y.C.  If you have a chance, you should see these culture.
