In
an article “9 Health Benefits of a Vegetarian Diet,” Dr. Edward explains to
people that 9 kinds of benefits of a vegetarian diet. Specifically, he explains
the definition of the vegetarian diet, which means a diet that can provide a
higher consumption of fiber, folic acid, vitamins C and E, magnesium,
unsaturated fat, and countless phytochemicals healthy food and nutrition. Then
following this kind of health diet, people will have lower cholesterol, be
thinner, have lower blood pressure, and reduce risk of heart disease. First, he
says that the vegetarian diet may change people into a better mood and may
improve the Psoriasis symptoms, which is a kind of skin disease that can cause
the skin irritation and skin redness. Then Dr. Edward explains that
the vegetarian diet also can reduce several kinds of diseases. Such as reducing
incidence of diabetes, reducing risk of cataract development and reducing the
cardiovascular disease risk. Also, this kind of diet can less the risk of
stroke and obesity and less the chance of development kidney stone. In
conclusion, he tells that vegetarian diet not only can make people have lower
cholesterol, but also can satisfy all the nutritional requirements that people
needs.
In
my point of view, I disagree that vegetarians have not eating meat because it’s
an incomplete diet. It is unhealthier compare to an omnivorous diet with good
animal product. There is no doubt that people need a lot more protein to
maintain their physical health and the meat is the first choice.
